Director's Bio: 
Soyeon Kim is filmmaker, illustrator, and educator. Soyeon was born in Seoul, Korea. While she majored painting at college, she developed an interest in moving images, which naturally led her to the world of animation and media arts. Soyeon has been producing independent films since 1993, as well as working on a broad range of projects in the world of advertising and film production as a director, art director, designer, and animator. Her work is visually strong and experimental, with an emphasis on nature. She loves to create various styles and textures, using different painting/mixed media techniques for both her films and artwork. Her independent films and commissioned works have been screened in over 300 film festivals worldwide.
